Santa Barbara Elopement
No matter the day of the week, the time of the year, a sweet elopement with just an officiant and a photographer in tow will tug at our heartstrings. Just take Eric and Patricia’s elopement — Hanh Nguyen Photography was there to capture the celebration, which was simple but no less beautiful with an all-orchid bouquet from Lace & Stems and a beautifully detailed wedding gown.

Of course, wedding days are already all about the couple, but when it’s only the bride and groom, it truly becomes just about them. Photographing Eric and Patricia’s elopement was a very unique experience and I loved every moment of it. I felt honored as they completely trusted me to capture the day in my vision. It was great having control of everything; no timelines, guests or other vendors we had to worry about. I just had to capture that day for their memories. And when you have an awesome couple like Eric and Patricia, it sure makes things easier for me.
They were great sports the entire time and down for anything, whether it was standing on the edge of a cliff or holding a tough pose long enough for me to get the perfect angle. And in the beautiful Santa Barbara landscape as our backdrop and we had all the ingredients for a wonderful elopement. In the end, I love how everything turned out and think the pictures really capture the emotions of that day. I hope Eric and Patricia can look back on the pictures and re-live all their passion, laughs and nerves from their wedding day.
