It’s always a treat to share a destination wedding, and especially one in Italy — but getting to share two Italian weddings in one week? Talk about a dream come true! This time we’ve got Giuli&Giordi and Trendinozze sharing their beautiful work with us in the form of Silvia and Chris’ wedding. The blend of rustic simplicity and a classic red and blue color palette is certainly working for us — how about you?
From the bride, Silvia: We wanted our wedding to be especially personal, able to represent us in the best way… our style. Simple, ironic and fresh, with a vintage touch. The colors chosen were red and blue, colors that we love, which were also capable of paying tribute to the American origins of Chris.
The theme of the breakfast (we decided to get married just having breakfast), taken from the objects placed on the table as spoons, cups, bowls etc…. and the theme of typography, for the reference to vintage and to represent our professions: architect and journalist. We participated in the first line to the assembly of all materials (signs, favors, invitations) … so much effort but a indescribable satisfaction.
Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Locate a few simple themes representative of the couple and develop them in detail. Discuss, collaborate, and above all: have fun!
