Romantic Moscow Wedding

Today’s wedding has all the makings of a super romantic day – shades of pink, endless cakes, tons of glitter, snowy weather, and sweet fuzzy bunnies. It doesn’t get much better than this! Olga and Sergey brought their dream wedding to life with the help of Sonya Khegay Photography, Ajur Wedding, and Latte Décor, all of whom did their part to make the big day a smash success.

From the event designer, Latte Décor: The couple approached us in November 2012. From the first meeting it was clear what kind of delicate and touching feelings they have for each other. The ceremony itself Olga and Sergey planned for the beginning of spring. In Russia this period is not the most popular time of the year for a wedding, because the weather can be quite unpredictable – and one should not expect bright sun with the first leaves on the trees. Looking ahead, it is worth saying that it was exactly what happened on the day of the wedding – there was fabulous snowfall.

While preparing, we decided we needed to dilute the cold landscapes with warm hues, bringing in an atmosphere of love and tenderness that comes from the couple in the winter wonderland. So we decided to use gold in the decoration and candles that always brings special magic and coziness. We wanted to make something special, but at the same time to maintain harmony with winter views, so we had the idea to bring cute and fluffy bunnies to the photo shoot and to “grow” green grass among white snowdrifts and snow-covered fir trees. Like an island of spring being a symbol of the emerging family.
