Everything about today’s feature wholeheartedly embraces the true spirit of a southern wedding. A family-style reception dinner, a choir singing “Oh Happy Day!,” and a classic bridal look are just some of the pieces that fit together to make Beth and Zack’s day a beautiful one to remember. From the event designer and planner, Christina Sloan Events: A crisp, October evening and a gorgeous villa was the setting for Beth and Zack’s wedding. An intimate gathering of family and friends came together to celebrate the couple and was treated to an elegant, Southern-inspired family style meal and tons of gorgeous details, from the custom, hand-lettered mirror menu and place cards to the beautiful place settings.

Beth and Zack wanted an evening that treated their guests to Southern hospitality, full of elegant details and custom design, while still incorporating their fun personalities. As a surprise to her new groom and her guests, Beth arranged for the Birmingham Mass Community Choir to come out during the recessional with a cheerful rendition of “Oh, Happy Day.” From beginning to end, it was a day of love, celebration, good food, and gorgeous details.
