Rebecca + Jason's 1930's Inspired Wedding (Part I)

I felt giddy when the talented NYC photographer Gulnara from Gulnara Studio emailed me with this vintage wedding. Rebecca, the bride, wore her grandmother’s wedding gown (which cost $30 back in the 30′s). The photo below is the portrait of her grandparents on their wedding day and Rebecca wearing her grandma’s fabulous bias cut gown. Besides wearing a vintage wedding dress, Rebecca also wore a pair of vintage Yves Saint Lauren as her wedding shoes.

I’d say yay for non matchy-matchy. Why can’t white and ivory work together?

Rebecca’s mom made the beaded bouquets (wait till you see the bride’s bouquet in part II!)

Wow she pulls that off perfectly and looks really beautiful. Normally the vintage weddings look awkward, but this bride really fit the bill. These pictures are all beautiful.

I really like the shot where they are about to kiss in the alley.

Lovely. I like the picture with the gate in the background particularly.
