Weekly Wrap-Up

+ Only two weeks left to submit your DIY project to our DIY Contest! You can submit as many projects for consideration as you’d like. Click here to enter. You will have till Sunday, October 3rd to send over your submission(s). That gives everyone plenty of time to put their crafty gloves on and get to work! Your project can be anything wedding related with the exception of wedding invitations where the core of the project is graphic design. You can submit as many projects as you can handle!

This time around we will be awarding First, Second and Third places prizes.

• First place will receive $500
• Second place will receive a $300 gift card to ModCloth
• Third place will receive a Silhouette Machine, a $299 value

We’ve had so many amazing weddings this week! in case you missed them, here’s a quick recap:

+ A gorgeous Canadian wedding. Just to give you an idea, the bride and bridesmaids wore Sarah Seven dresses. The groomsmen also were stylishly mismatched with plaid suits and cotton ties, which you can check out in part two of Alison and Ryan’s vintage wedding.
+ This Maryland wedding was planned in just short 6 weeks! Yes folks, it is possible!
+ The bride’s vintage wedding dress was actually her mom’s. Handmade by her grandmother, no less!
+ A ceremony stage made out of reclaimed wood – is it the ultimate DIY project?
