Bubbly and Baubles. Inspired by Sarah Vonne jewelry, photographer Jen Meneghin, and stylists Sarah Tillges, & Tara Bailie decided to create a wedding setting with a minimalistic preppy chic look. A bubbly and baubles theme could really go bridal shower, bachelorette party or wedding…or all three.

From Jen Meneghin: We decided to do a progressive bridal-shoot (with bride only) to show the transition of looks:

The final (after party) look we had our bride put on a gold sequined dress, black tights, and black pumps. We kept the hair the same but switched up the lip to a nude color.

All around the office we’ve been crushing hard on bride Katie’s style: modern, streamlined, and classic all in one. This includes a custom made gown by Erica Lindy, a chic bun from Frenchy’s Beauty Parlor, and an incredible bouquet from The Byrd Collective. Our greatest thanks goes out to Nathan Russell Photography for sharing this wedding with us!

From the bride, Katie: We envisioned something simple and elegant but festive since it was on New Year’s Eve. I decided to have a very small wedding with a family style dinner served immediately after. We met all of our friends down at the barn for the New Year’s Eve party a little later in the night. We really lucked out with the weather because it was foggy and a bit rainy which made everything really romantic feeling.

We wanted the evening to be special not only because it was our wedding day but because people were sharing the start of their new year with us! There were plenty of late night snacks like bacon wrapped jalapenos, sliders and a fire pit with s’mores. For a color scheme we used lots of blush tones accented with gold. We had plenty of DIY projects! Dip Dyed Napkins, painted vases, custom party horns and tinsel drink stirrers!

Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? Don’t sweat the small stuff! Everything really does come together and if it doesn’t – well it just doesn’t! Surround yourself with people you love and take people up on their offer to help! Also, it doesn’t hurt to have an insanely talented team and let them do what they do best!
