Today’s styled shoot from Julie Cahill Photography, E Events Co, and Seascape Flowers blends the best of two worlds — the relaxation of a farm to table dinner with the elegance of a curated wedding event. There’s so much to love here (including dinner dishes that have our tummies rumbling), but we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out the scrumptious chocolate cake adorned with kumquats!
From the event designer and coordinator, Eileen of E Events Co: Set in the beautiful and historic B&B Sand Rock Farm along the California Coastline, an amazing team of local vendors came together to create our own unique spin on a farm to table inspired wedding styled shoot, sourcing local and fresh ingredients… It was really important to us to create something that had not been seen before, and to show that a farm to table event can still be elegant and sophisticated, and yet still feel so warm and inviting…
Seascape Flowers truly hit it out of the park with this one! The lush table garland included so many ingredients straight out of the garden, including green tomatoes on the vine, fresh blueberry, white strawberries and the biggest kale leaves you’ve ever seen! Private chef and venue owner, Derek Hagglof took it to another level creating a menu sourced from local ingredients fresh from the garden, and finished it off with a stunning citrus polenta cake with chocolate ganache, adorned with sugared kumquats to satisfy any sweet tooth!
Each place setting was adorned with an individual kumquat and blueberry vine, and the paper goods with hand written calligraphy in rose gold, to tie in with the rose gold flatware. I mean, who doesn’t love rose gold!? We just can’t get enough these days! The bride and groom danced the night away under bistro lights in the outdoor barrel room, and snapped photos in the booth bus and captured memories to be cherished for years to come!
