Lush + Romantic Pink Wedding

This gorgeous wedding was sent over by the fabulous floral designer extraordinaire, Carissa of JL Designs. It is full of lush romantic flowers like blush “cafe au lait” dahlias, creamy hydrangea, pale pink ranunculus, white lisianthus and beige scabiosa pods. The end result was a feminine look that was soft, yet perfectly pulled together.

A little about Esther + Doan’s big day from their wedding planner, Christina of Simply Modern Weddings:

Esther & Doan’s wedding was a gorgeous blend of classic romance inspiration, with a touch of modern to balance it out. In our design meeting they gravitated towards a linen that i nicknamed “metallic toast” which was a beautiful antique bronze fabric. to give it a bit more depth, we decided to mix metals by pairing this metallic toast linen with tons of silvery mercury glass vessels. This provided the perfect base for the stunning soft blush pinks, creamy ivory and white floral designs from Carissa with JL Designs. Esther just adored romantic, lush flowers…but to give it that funky edge, Carissa incorporated touches of masculine scabiosa pods throughout the floral.

Their day was a perfect mix of feminine & masculine, vintage & modern…representing both Esther and Doan and bringing together their fabulous style!

This is a beautiful wedding and a gorgeous couple! I love how they created a feel that was vintage and romantic, but still had a fresh and modern sensibility. Not over-done, just….perfect! Congratulations!

I would LOVE to know the answer to the previous question: Where are the mercury glass votives from? They are beautiful, and I would like to use them in our upcoming wedding.

    Thank You! :D
