Lindsay + Chris's Vintage Hawaiian Wedding

My dress was inspired by my own vintage bubble dresses and 1980′s puff sleeve jacket; my husband’s outfit was tailored, both our outfits tailored by Manuel Mendoza.
Our crazy pink mango-filled cake with mini leis and chocolate “pineapple” was done by Ganache Patisserie in Vancouver.
See the snow? The wedding actually took place in Vancouver! This is the perfect example of doing a theme inspired wedding tastefully. She also wore her grandmother’s fur coat – doesn’t she look darling?
A little more from the bride, Lindsay:
I wanted to do a vintage Hawaiian theme, because I love all things vintage, but also because of fond memories of traveling to Hawaii with my family! We rented a place called Heritage Hall, which was built in 1916 and used to be a Post Office. We decorated it ourselves with palm trees, bamboo and paper lanterns. For a year I collected vintage Hawaiian memorabilia, postcards, online, in thrift stores and from my parents and grandparents’ own collection! Our RSVP reply cards were old vintage Hawaii postcards from the 1960s. Everything was on display at our wedding.
