Kenwood Ranch Wedding
Just take the next few minutes to soak in this wedding. Right now. Because once you start looking, it may stop you in your tracks too. Perfectly captured by Milou + Olin Photography, formerly Tinywater Photography, Peggy and Erik’s nuptials are definitely one for the books. I seriously can’t help but gush over Peggy’s style.
From the bride, Peggy: We didn’t really listen to anyone when we started to plan and really agreed that we were going to make the day solely about us having an amazing time. I walked down the aisle with both of my parents to the Fleet Foxes “Meadowlarke.” We had both of our dogs a part of our ceremony as well. They have the cutest shirt collars with bow ties. I love them!! We also decided to have a whiskey/cigar bar at the reception.
Erik is a huge whiskey fan and my dad loves cigars, so it was the perfect man marriage. We had some special brands of whiskey for people to taste and some cigars for the guests to smoke. Every part of the wedding was designed and created physically by Erik or I. Except for our Save the Date – which was a comic made by our friend Aimee who is going to be marrying us as well. I printed them all and assembled all of the packaging for those. Then I designed printed and assembled all of the wedding invitations. It was so much work, but I had such a great time doing it.
Our friend Aimee and her brother Danny married us – which is super special to us. We really just wanted someone who shared such a special part in us knowing each other being the person who would make it official. They are both such wonderful friends to us, and they incorporated some silly Lord of the Rings references for us to giggle a lot during the ceremony. I also took on the task of making all of the wedding favors. We used 2 oz bottles which I used artwork to create labels for – and they held samples of whiskey or tequila for guests to take home in a wine tote.
