Italian Bohemian Wedding Shoot
Oh, how I love the freshness of an international styled shoot. This one comes all the way from Italy, and shows a musical bohemian couple very much in love and surrounded by natural elements. Our thanks go out to Studio A+Q and Con le Ballerine Verdi for sharing this photoshoot with us!
From the designer, Maria of Con le Ballerine Verdi: An airy atmosphere with a twist, old musical instruments, mix-matched vintage furniture and above all a bride and groom deeply madly in love. These were our inspirations for the styled shoot. We chose a little country town in Umbria in central Italy, which helped to find the setting with the gentle hills landscape and the local people creativity. The unusual palette of beige, black and pink lead all the decoration, from the table to the floral design, to the cake and even the bride and groom outfits.
All the vintage props are original (and still in use!) accessories and furniture of the lovely country house where we decided to shoot, like the old red bicycle, the velvet sofa and all the musical instruments, and helped create a dreamy and magical atmosphere. For the wedding table we preferred to use rough materials like reed baskets for the flowers, and handmade table (made of an old tree of the garden), vintage silver cutlery. The only “girly” concession to the decor were the paper straws, the candies and the paper place mats that were an original menu because we wanted to give the shoot a strong bohemian inspiration, softened by romantic details: two souls in a harmonic communion.
