Intimate Home Wedding

This wedding shot by Tin Sparrow Studio may just be the sweetest thing ever. Rachael and Pete married in their own New Jersey home only two days before Christmas, with just an officiant and two photographers in tow. The bride’s wedding gown was a vintage find and no more than $100!

From the bride, Rachael: Our wedding was exactly what we envisioned… simplistically perfect and selfishly private. We wanted to get married in our favorite establishment… our home; surrounded by all of our comforts, collections and treasures. We decided it was important to have that moment just for us… no audience, no distractions, just us. After our ceremony, we stopped by my favorite store, Parcel in Montclair, to capture the wondrous treasures that inspire me. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to celebrate our love. It truly was the best day ever. Hooray for love!

From the photographer, Anna: Rachael (a adorably obsessive crafter) and Pete got married in their home, just the 2 of them along with us (the photographers) as their witnesses. The details were all crafted by Rachael in sweet pastel colors, along with their home. After the ceremony we headed off to town to shoot in the store that inspired Rachaels theme, and after our goodbyes they went to have crepes together to celebrate (I LOVE this couple!).
