Vintage Rhinestone Bracelets

You can never have too much of a good thing, especially if it is pretty, sparkly and comes in small packages. I am loving the modern take on vintage rhinestone bracelets, with different design bracelets stacked on one arm. It can be your something old and a cute homage to the women in your family. Stack them in odd numbers and and mix and match them with different designs. Below are some of our favorite brides’ styles:

Below are some brands that made beautiful rhinestone bracelets back in the day. Keep an eye out for these names when shopping for vintage wedding jewelry, they often have marks on the back of the clasp:

Coro created modestly priced costume jewelry — with a great success in their line of pins — from 1910 to the late 1970s.
Founded in 1904, Lisner became a seller of costume jewelry for over 60 years.
Kramer was a New York-based manufacturer of jewelry ranging from the simple to the extravagant from 1934 to the late 1970s.
Founded and owned by Paul Selenger, Selro produced costume jewelry from the 1950s to the 1960s.
With a business dating back to the early 1920s and featuring incredible designs from Alfred Philippe, Trifari continues to create costume jewelry to this day.
Also New York-based, Weiss manufactured both low and high end lines of costume jewelry from the 1940s to 1971.

One of the most exciting questions of the past few weeks has finally been answered, and we couldn’t be more pleased! Kate Middleton (or shall we say Duchess Catherine) chose Sarah Burton of fashion house Alexander McQueen to design her wedding gown, and we couldn’t help but see a parallel between Kate’s gown and Grace Kelly’s timeless lace wedding dress. Kate has brought modest simplicity back to bridal sophistication, from her simple tiara to her small posy lily of the valley bouquet. Classic brides, take note from these royal brides of times past:

Charlotte Casadéjus Wedding Gowns

If we could be princesses for a day, we’d certainly be contacting British designer Charlotte Casadéjus. Charlotte’s gorgeous wedding gowns are so perfectly vintage. Each of her pieces includes original vintage details, ranging from vintage lace to beading to antique buckles. Because of this, none of her pieces are the same and each offers a totally different aesthetic!

I’ve been oohing and ahhing over these dresses for days! I think the champagne satin gown above right has to be my favorite. Which is yours?

We’re also extremely excited to announce Charlotte Casadéjus will be giving us a firsthand look into her newest wedding dress line in the coming weeks, which we will, of course, be sharing with all of you as soon as we get it. Thank you Charlotte Casadéjus for sharing these images with us!

Continuing our post on Royal Brides from yesterday, we’d like to focus on a perennial royal wedding tradition: cathedral length veils. Though tiaras may be an enduring mainstay of the royal wedding, we’re sure loving the modern twist on these vintage veils – especially cap and mantilla veils.
