Haylie + Ross's Paris Chic Wedding
This wedding rocks my socks off. I have been patiently waiting for Rachel Thurston to send me these images, and the wait paid off! Haylie and Ross had a beautiful Paris inspired wedding in the coolest city of the United States, Portland, Oregon. Their distinct style makes it effortlessly chic. They had a vintage typewriter for guests to type their well wishes, and French botanical touches made their Paris inspired wedding one of my favorites yet! Photos by Rachel Thurston.

so cute! I love all the little details
So adorable!!!!
LOVE Haylie’s pumpkin-colored sweater and the rest of the coordinating accents. Their bird motif is darling. Stylish and fun wedding!
I love all the colors and the favors are so divine! This wedding seems to speak to the couple’s personalities very well.
OMG, I love this wedding, what a cool couple!
What brand are those shoes? Where did they come from? I just love them!! I’m looking for just that look for my “one day”.
I think those ruffled t strap shoes are Steve Madden’s.
Hey! Thanks for all the nice comments, guys. It’s a little surreal to see our wedding on a blog, since I looked at so many for so long. The shoes are from a fabulous company called Ruche, and they’re really, really comfortable. Hope that helps!
Ok, the dress – who is the designer/where was it purchased? I am trying my hardest to find some cute sleeve wedding dress options. You’re wedding was gorgeous! Congrats.
haylie!
Adorable wedding. I saw the “Go By Streetcar” sign and said, Oh they’re in Portland! Me too and was seriously considering the Eco Trust for that exact balcony spot (now I’m second-guessing my choice to have our wedding at home!) Did you make those Haiku forms or can I buy or print them from somewhere??
Haylie – gorgeous photos! In your search, did you find many dresses with sleeves? I love your choice. Are you willing to share the designer or any others that were runners up?
Hello again,
My fiance-cum-husband designed our haiku forms after we saw that idea done at a live taping of a radio show, but we could email the form to you if you want.
As for the dress, I actually borrowed it from my exceptionally stylish cousin after she designed it with a dressmaker for her wedding. Good luck on the sleeved-dress search. That one’s hard.
great style and photos!
I’m Haylie’s cousin, thanks for the compliments on the dress! I designed it with the help of some pretty pictures and an excellent seamstress. Since I don’t see how I can get away with wearing it again =) I am open to offers to buy it. Email me if you are interested… brittanyjmann@gmail.com.
I would love the Haiku form if you don’t mind sharing (stealing) you idea?

Thanks!
