Glam Romance Colorado Wedding

Glam Romance Colorado Wedding

This wedding is straight out of a vintage glam dream. Bride Alexandra wanted her wedding day to be full of romance, neutral colors with a pop of gold, and peonies, and brought on Pink Champagne Events and Twigs & Posies to help with her vision. Of course, Tess Pace Photography was there to capture everything for us all to see!

From the bride, Alexandra: The day of the wedding was cloudy and rainy but the sun came out about 15 minutes before the ceremony started. Most of the guests were from out of town and had never been to Colorado so guests were in awe of the beautiful scenery. The wedding was fun and everyone enjoyed the food and music.

I knew that I wanted to go for a chic vintage romantic look. We wanted our guests to have fun and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of the Rockies. I love peonies and sequins so they had to be incorporated in the wedding somehow! Our color palette was neutral with gold accents. Colors include ivory, champagne, blush pink and gold.

From the stylist, Pink Champagne Events: Alexandra and Seth wanted a romantic meets rustic, vintage meets modern Colorado wedding. We achieved that through the pastel palette of blushes, creams, and gold combined with the natural rustic elements that the venue provides. We continued to develop a soft, romantic, and vintage look by having her table flowers in mismatched mercury vases and vintage teacups placed on top of wine barrels and light pink striped linens for dinner. We also used mismatched china on the tables to pull the entire look together. For her cake table, paper poms and bunting banners added a handmade element that we didn’t have anywhere else. In addition to her fabulous dress, Alexandra also donned a stunning headpiece that gave a nod to vintage brides, while combining the look with today’s modern headband.

  • Everyone is dressed perfectly to the 9s! The groomsmen’s suspenders are fabulous! You did such a good job incorporating your color pallet into everything, it’s not super overpowering. It’s subtle but noticeably elegant.

  • love love love the picture of you underneath your veil, so gorgeous! And what a cutie pie flower girl 🙂
