Sharisa + Rex’s Modern Courthouse Wedding

Simple, unique weddings turn my insides into romantic mush and when the bride and groom are this indie-chic and gorgeous, well I’m just a puddle of love. Sharisa and Rex married in a simple ceremony at the Mesa LDS Temple this fall. They decided to skip the full reception and instead launched straight off to celebrate together on their honeymoon. How sweet! Luckily, they took the time to get some amazing portraits together, shot by the super-talented Lang Photographers, to document their sweet and stylish day. Oh, and that dress… that dress! There are no words. It makes the fashionista in me melt.

These pictures are so beautiful. Everything is so unique and the couple’s personality really comes out in what they are wearing and how they are so naturally posed. It’s the simple stuff that makes romance so special. I just saw this movie called White Wedding, about a South African bride who plans a big, expensive wedding and in the end turns it into a traditional wedding at home. There’s no need for all the luxury when you can find beauty in the simplest things. http://whiteweddingmovie.com/
