From the photographer, Kaity Brawley Photography: We were really inspired by the transition from summer to fall. We wanted to create something that at the same time would be a sweet goodbye to summertime and a warm welcome to the chillier, cozier season to come. To soak up the last bits of summer we incorporated romantic overgrown florals and lots of soft pink tones. We also had to include bubbly rosé and edible flower ice cubes, because what’s a farewell to summer without them?

The nod to fall really shines through in Kaleidoscope Flowers & Botanicals‘ incredible designs. They incorporated different yellows and pale oranges, alongside the summer pinks and whites, into the arrangements and bouquet. They also used pieces of changing foliage and small berries. For the tablescape we used gold flatware and candlesticks with lots of warm glowing candles atop a rich dark wood table. All those elements added the feeling of warmth we were hoping to achieve.

We also wanted to be sure our couple’s attire fit the overall idea just as seamlessly as all the other details. We chose to put the bride in two stunning blush colored gowns as opposed to white or ivory. It added the perfect extra touch of romance that we were looking for. For the groom we decided on a dark navy rather than a grey or black suit. I love the navy mixed with the warm fall tones! It also tied in perfectly with the soft blue in the invitation suite and ribbon on the bouquet.
