Encinitas Beach Wedding

I love seeing intimate weddings grace our inbox, because they often feel like a breath of fresh air in an ever-growing industry. Samantha and Aaron’s wedding hosted only 15 guests, which allowed them to focus on the details closest to their hearts – which were all captured wonderfully by Steve Cowell Photo. We’re particularly smitten with the “L-O-V-E” backdrop for the ceremony, which was custom made by none other than the groom’s brother!

From the bride, Samantha: I envisioned a laid back, vintage, beach feeling for our wedding. I also wanted something intimate since it was a small wedding with close family. Our colors were peach, aqua, coral, and teal. Beach. Very intimate. Sunset. We had Vigilucci’s which is a high end Italian restaurant that is local to the San Diego north county area. Steak, pasta, and vegetables were on the menu and they served the meal for us at a really reasonable cost and it was delicious!

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? I didn’t do much planning as my family pretty much took care of the details. I will say keeping a positive attitude and keeping it small was the best decision I ever made.

  • Hello! What a beautiful wedding celebration! Congratulations to you and your families. This is near and dear to my heart as I too live in Encinitas and am planning a private ceremony at a private residence near Moonlight Beach for next Spring.

I’m wondering if Samantha would be willing to reach out to me to share some of her experiences and feedback on her caterer/vendors. 🙂 It would be sincerely appreciated!

    • Hi Shannon, I was the photographer for the wedding. I might be able to connect you with the bride if you still had some questions. Shoot me an email with them and I will be happy to forward them along! Thanks for asking!

  • Could you please advise me on where she had her amazing LOVE letters made? They are truly perfect. Gorgeous event and beautiful bride. 🙂

  • I absolutely adore your dress! It’s exactly what I’m looking for. Beautiful photos!

  • Beautiful! Love this intimate wedding! The L-O-V-E backdrop is very unique, love the colors, and love the hombre cake. The ocean is a perfect place to feel the presence of God. May he bless this beautiful couple with a lifetime of happiness and love.
