Elegant South Melbourne Wedding

Going through the images and film from today’s wedding (sent over by the fantastic Stewart Leishman), I haven’t seen a single frame where the groom isn’t grinning from ear to ear. But I’m sure that’s to be expected when you have a couple who’s as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside! Let’s dive right into this one – you won’t be able to stop staring at the bride’s wedding gown, which was made by the groom’s very own sister.

From the bride, Giuliana: We had a wonderful wedding day and enjoyed every moment. It was a really nice feeling watching it all come together and witnessing how happy all our guests were. It was also a privilege to share our special day with 190 of our closest family and friends. More than half of our guests traveled from interstate to be with us and for that we will be eternally grateful.

From the photographer, Stewart: Robert and Giuliana met 6.5 years ago on NYE. Giuliana was in Melbourne on a holiday with a group of girlfriends and met Rob at a NYE party. There was an instant spark as she entered the venue and their eyes met. She took the lead and said “you look like my friend Alex”, to which Rob responded “who’s Alex?” That pickup line was a sure conversation starter and they talked and talked until the sun came up! Four months later after hours and hours of phone time, and only two interstate visits, Giuliana took a leap of faith and moved from Adelaide to Melbourne to live with Rob, and here they are today!
