DIY Love Tokens

I have to say, I had my eye on the heart-shaped clay tokens from our ballet wedding inspiration shoot earlier today, so I’m chuffed that Katy of Without Wax, Katy is back with us to share just how she made them. Read on for the full instructions!

For this project, you will need:
-Cutting Board
-DAS Clay
-Rolling Pin
-Knife and/or Pizza Cutter
-Cookie Cutters and/or Glasses for shaping clay
-Stamp

Instructions:
Using the large, round “take a lover who looks at you like maybe you are magic” as an example:
1. Slice the clay into thin stripes.

2. With a rolling pin, flatten the clay to roughly 1/8 – 1/4 inch in thickness.

3. Using a cookie cutter or glass, press into the clay and remove excess clay.

4. Place your stamp of choice in the center of the clay, press and remove. Your design or quote is now transferred on to the clay.

If you choose, you can add more designs at this time. Let the clay dry overnight.
