We wanted to continue to share more Dia de los Muertos inspiration today, this time shot and styled by Vanessa Velez. Much more colorful than how we know our Halloween to be, Dia de los Muertos is celebrated in Mexico and other countries today and tomorrow with All Souls Day.
From the photographer and stylist, Vanessa Velez: We have put together this themed shoot in celebration of the Day of the Dead, taking ideas from the cultural background and festivities that take place on that day. We concentrated on the beautiful colorful aspect of it and the use of wild and beautiful flowers. Our take was a mix of the traditional ideas with the influence of the modern bride and groom.
