When the weather is lovely outside, it’s natural to take wedding inspiration cues from the outdoors. In this shoot produced by Be Inspired PR with photos from Sanaz Photography, Deanna Nash Events, Foxtail Florals, and the awesome team of vendors that collaborated together reined in ideas from the cool blues and greens of the ocean and those lazy days spent by the water, soaking up the sun. That sounds so romantic, doesn’t it?
From the event planner, Deanna Nash Events: With summer fast approaching, our minds turn to warm breezes and the crystal blue and green waters of the summer seas. For this styled shoot, we wanted to recreate the feeling and romance of summer days spent on the water paired with our favorite wedding details. To add a twist of the unexpected, we joined the water-colored hues of the sea with an industrial background to create a fun wedding that could be re-imagined in any setting.
A table resembling driftwood was layered with beautiful tabletop items in shades ranging from cerulean to the smokiest of blues. Concrete chargers created a base for our tableware, topped off with custom laser-cut names in raw wood to guide guests to their seats. Layers of greenery with pops of white rounded out the table in the form of centerpieces scattered across the tabletop. To add a little sparkle to the table, gold flatware and brass candlesticks were added to finish the look. Table numbers were laser-cut and mounted to driftwood and floated above the table.
There was no shortage of amazing details to round out our summer seas theme. Guests were welcomed to their hotel with a custom gift box filled with items inspired by the sea: saltwater taffy, seaglass, and sea salt lip balm to name just a few. Invitations and paper goods in water-colored hues; custom handkerchiefs embroidered with sea-inspired words of love were carried by the bridesmaids and adorned the groom and groomsmen jacket pockets. As a nod to her favorite color, the bride wore a dress in the palest shade of blue, while the bridesmaids dresses were the blue of the deepest of seas. The ceremony background with its swaths of fabric was meant to evoke the movement of the sea. To end our day on the sweetest of notes, three cakes in different shades of blue were displayed on brass pedestals and complimented by an amazing array of florals.
