Indie Chicago Winter Engagement

Today we’re lucky to have a hybrid engagement session/stylized shoot in the lovely city of Chicago. Robert and Susan teamed up with a fantastic design team to produce not only their sweet, wintry engagement photos but also some winter table inspiration in the groom’s new boutique hotel. The outcome is sure to warm even the coldest of Chicago winter mornings, don’t you think? And I’m just swooning over those little arrangements from Fleur! Thanks for sending it over, Jessie!

We had a lot of laughs during this shoot. Susan is so full of life and her dress was killer. Combine that with the location, paper goodies from Sarah Drake and the flowers from Fleur, I knew we had something great going on!

There’s that birch again. It just adds so much to the little things. I love the way the roughness plays off the softness of the flowers. Everything is absolutely beautiful. Thanks.

This was such a delightful shoot to work out! It really was out of the box for our floral style and we just loved that! Susan’s dress was ordered from www.asos.com. She looks simply stunning in it! Thank you everyone, for your sweet comments. :)
