I LOVE THIS BELT! I’ve actually looked at it countless times on their website too. I would love to have this in silver… I would seriously wear it all of the time. I specifically want it for my wedding dress though… I have a very limited budget for my wedding, since my fiance nad I are paying for everything ourselves, so my dress is very simple. This belt would take it from simple to absolutely stunning. What a dream belt – sigh.

Thank you for posting this site. I have been looking for accessories to go with my dress for my upcoming wedding, and I think that I just found them. :) The belt and a head band are just what I need. Now to decide which one I want.

I would wear this gorgeous sash as the sole piece of jewellery at my wedding on 26 June. I am wearing a knee-length,50′s-inspired ivory silk dress, with 3/4-length sleeves, a cinched waiste, and a slightly tulip-shaped skirt. My hair will be in a loose bun with a couple of flowers pinned in, and I’ll carry a bouquet of ranunculus in bright orange, red, and pink. The sash would give just the right amount of glamour to an otherwise really simple and summery look. We are getting married in a 15th century college in Oxford, and the vintage look of the sash would go perfectly with the old surroundings. I think it would make me channel Grace Kelly in just the right way!

The belt has to be the greatest accessory for flowy tops, vintage dresses and I’d definitely wear it with the right sun dress and a boyfriend jacket. Delicious! It also would work with my 50′s inspired wedding dress for sure! Thanks for sharing!

I would totally wear this over a wedding dress! But I’d have to try it out before then (because I’d be too excited to wait)and would probably wear it with a few of my longer tops to accent the waist. I also have some boring dresses that could use a little bling around the midsection.

I’ve been searching for the perfect silver belt for my Maid of Honor to wear. All of the other bridesmaids are wearing olive colored, solid dresses but the MOH is wearing a silver dress with big peach flowers. I wanted something to tie her dress to mine and my dress has a beautiful, rhinestone embroidered sash. Perfect! And, after the wedding, I would beg her to let me keep it for myself. :)

Yay, shiny belt! How I adore you! The art deco feel of this belt gives it such a timeless look that it could make an instant family heirloom piece. After wearing it as the accent piece with my simple but elegant wedding dress I’ll instantly start passing it on. Maybe my future daughter, daughter-in-law-to-be, or granddaughter will wear it on their wedding day? I could only hope so. Until then….i’ll sneak it on every once in a while when I need a little pick me up.

My sister/best friend is getting married and having a southern charm affair. Her dress is lace and simple, but we have never found the right thing to ‘jazz’ it up a bit…well I guess not the right thing that will fit into the budget! So she is resorting to just wearing the dress plain. I would surprise her with this fabulous belt that she will drool over the morning of her wedding and have the photographer there to capture the special moment.

In the span of the average life, one can only hope to happen upon an item which can be passed on to the generations which we leave behind. It is not biased by culture, as gift giving knows no bounds.

This is an item to leave a legacy by and for which never to be forgotten.

I hope to wear this, and one day give it down to my daughters or daughter-in-law.

I would definitely love to own this belt. The belt can be worn in so many different ways: as a belt, as a bracelet lopped around, perhaps a headband, a necklace if you add a pretty yet simple pink satin string to tie a bow as if it were an actual necklace, as a purse add-on, on a hat’s edge…the list goes on and on. But definitely on the dress. The awesome thing is that it’s part of the dress, and the day, that you will be able to keep and use over and over, unlike many other things, such as a veil.

Would love to own this. Keeping my fingers crossed!
    ~Andrea L.

p.s. thanks for the chance to win this.

A better question would be, where would I NOT where it???

Since I’m on a major budget for my wedding (the price of being a grad student- boo), I’ve had to tone myself down from what I love to what I can realistically afford, even when it comes to my wedding dress. This sash would add the perfect amount of glamor (without being too much) to my wedding dress- not to mention every other outfit I own! I think it would be great to have something from my wedding day that I could wear over and over again, each time being reminded of how fabulously romantic that day was. :)
