1. Personalize Template & Print

Open the template files (front and back) in Microsoft Word and type in your names, ceremony details, and wedding party names using your favorite font. The font used in the example is Coneria Script and can be downloaded here for free.

Using the second page template, you can include additional pages with tidbits about you, timeline of events, transportation arrangements etc.

2. Score & Trim

Before you trim your program, use a ruler and a scoring tool to mark the center crease. Align your ruler with the marks on the template and score. I like to use the back tip, not the cutting edge, of an Xacto knife to make my fold. Use a straight edge paper trimmer or scissors to cut along the dotted lines on all four sides. The final program measures 5” square when folded.

3. Crease and Punch

Use a bone folder or your hands to crease the fold and form a sharp edge. Open the booklet and punch two holes for the ribbon. To keep your holes consistent, slide the paper until it meets the deepest point of the punch (about 1.5” on my punch) and make the hole. Make a fringed tie with sequined ribbon
and gold embroidery floss, or tie a wider ribbon with a fluffy bow.
