Nicole + Michael's Vintage Book Wedding
Hello lovelies! Today I will be stepping out for the National Stationery Show, but first I want to leave you with this vintage chic Malibu wedding that photographer Jenny Liu sent me. The bride, Nicole owns a clothing shop and an Etsy shop, so it was no surprise to know she designed their vintage book wedding herself and even made the Mr. and Mrs. plaques they used as props. Her gorgeous Lazaro key hole wedding dress and her choice of a multi strand pearl necklace looked perfect with her cathedral length veil, another project made by Nicole. There were so many beautiful images to choose from, it was hard to keep it concise. I’m sure you’ll understand why.

Wow, what a beautiful wedding – I have seen so many weddings on these bridal blogs but this one really stands out: elegant, thoughtful, understated, expressive. Can I ask where the bride got her beautiful necklace from? I feel quite inspired. I wouldn’t mind trying a similar look with my dress (a Claire Pettibone with a similar neckline).

I really love the non-traditional detailing Nicole and Michael picked for their wedding…the ferris wheel and barn were definitely a unique touch. Even the flowers were wild and rustic-looking, but beautiful. Congrats!

It’s Lazaro 3815. I know because I will be wearing the same dress in 40 short days!! This is the first time I’ve seen it on a real person besides myself and I’m so excited to see it looks so stunning in pictures.
Hi Ladies! Thanks for all the sweet compliments :) The necklace was my grandmother’s. I was going to wear her wedding dress which fit me perfectly, but it was 70 years old, and too brittle. The Lazaro dress was the closest thing I could find to her dress.
