Bohemian Wedding Inspiration at a Magnolia Plantation

Wedding Design

There are almost no words for how delighted the bursts of color in this shoot from Christina Lilly Photography and Gilded Lily Events delighted me. With incredible touches of bohemian flair, bright fuchsia and teals and a couple so beautiful it nearly hurts to look at them, we just can’t get enough!

From the photographer, Christina: As a photographer that just got married myself I wanted to inspire thinking outside of the box. I wanted to portray a wedding reminding couples it can be all about them. I saw sweeping Spanish moss and a rainbow of bohemian color as my backdrop. So I decided to take my idea to a Magnolia Plantation in Charleston SC.

Together with other creative minds I managed to produce what would be an ideal wedding for that colorful, music loving, bohemian couple. We played Tame Impala to set the mood and spray painted gold and hot pink everywhere. Along with feathers and a real actual rainbow I think we hit the nail on the head. My music loving couple really showed it could just be a simple serenade at dusk to say I do.

The table settings are really pretty. Antlers seem to be a wedding trend these days.

The usage of color is amazing!! I love how the couple was able to consistently incorporate colors throughout their wedding from their attire to the flowers and of course the rainbow cake (super cool idea)!!
