Bohemian Summer Inspiration
We’re supremely excited to share this particular inspiration shoot with you all! Inspired by a bohemian bride in a summer camp setting, Megan and her team of Events In The City crafted this lovely scene with the help of Holly Chapple‘s amazing flowers + props and Amelia Johnson‘s always incredible images. Prepare yourself to start swooning over their color palette of rich teals, reds, and yellows:
From the event stylist, Megan of Events In The City: Meet Seneca — she is your all American beauty with a love and respect for the memories of her childhood and path that led her to her soon to be husband! Seneca and Tristan met many Summers ago at camp. After their engagement had been announced there was no other place they could image taking their vows then the very place that had sparked their romance. Wanting to combine some of the more contemporary ideas with the character of camp they created a fun, whimsical, and enchanting evening.
Their table design was filled with organic and home grown touches, from yarn spun napkin holders, locally grown wildflowers, and twig shaped flatware.
What says camp out better then Acoustic guitar sing alongs, S’mores and Ice Cream! Each guest was encouraged to gather together to find heir seats by the gentle strums of familiar melodies. Individual s’mores parting gifts were disguised as bindles. A combination of Norman Rockwell’s The Runaway & Ice Cream Drips. These Americana treats are sure to provide each guest longing for the sweet smell of Summer as they leave.
