Blooming Wedding Ideas

Last week I attended the NY Magazine Weddings Event, and couldn’t help but drool over the amazing floral designs some of the booths had. So much inspiration I had to share with you all. Garden roses, peonies, ranunculus and lavender were everywhere, subtly reminding me that spring is finally here and summer is right around the corner. The blooming tea mini centerpieces were my absolute favorite! Pair those with vintage pink Depression Glass goblets and it’s pure bliss. You also might want to check out this post on another gorgeous vintage tablescape from a few weeks ago for more decor eye candy.

Secret Garden sensational! These photos remind me of the beautiful scenery in the movie, “The Secret Garden.” Each floral design has a personality of its own. I love the use of the vintage shutters to add interest to the room. Also, they would make a perfect backdrop for an engagement photo session!

LOVE the pink poppies & posies! Using the jars as bud vases (row 2) adds such great detail to the decor… I’d love to see different sets of those grouped together to decorate a gift table or as a centerpiece.

The mismatched vintage theme I detect in almost all these pictures is UNBELIEVABLY beautiful. I think I would faint at an expo like this. It’s too much gorgeousness to handle. Lovely images!

I am loving the shutters in the last photo. It’s such a neat idea to use them in an artistic way. You could even use them to prop photos or frames.

Garden roses, how I love thee….as a wedding flower, garden roses are excellent choices. Their ruffled petals speak elegance and romance, and brides continue to use them year after year. Gorgeous flowers!
