Black and White Bridal Style
Nathalie from Luxe Fête sent over this photoshoot and instead of focusing on decor I thought it would be great to spotlight the couple’s style – and how you can do it on a budget. The bride’s fluffy short wedding dress with layers and layers of tulle is by Dolce & Gabbana, but you can find an equally gorgeous short wedding dress for a more affordable route (see our round up of 15 Vintage Inspired Wedding Dresses for under $500 and last year’s 10 Vintage Inspired Wedding Dresses for under $500). The groom’s vintage tuxedo is from C. Madeleine’s Vintage Boutique, proof that grooms can also find vintage clothing to wear for their wedding.
I am loving the black gloves – it reminds me of this post I made about darling gloves for vintage weddings nearly one year ago.

Thanks for posting our shoot! The Sex Pistol backdrop is a wall mural at a loft space in Miami Beach. We used it as a backdrop for our Punk. Rock. Love. photo shoot. Our “bride and groom” models rocked!

When I saw this post, I remember my mom. We were just talking about wedding brides who prefer black and white for wedding colors. She was really against it (very traditional). Nothing wrong with that. Everyone can have their own opinions about things. But personally, if i get married, i would love to have black and maybe pink. I saw this wedding where they even had the ceremonies on a chapel near a cemetery and the pre-wedding pictures were taken in the cemetery. I told this to a friend who was planning to get married early next year and she said that was weird. But when she saw the pictures, she changed her mind.

I’m a rock and roll super fan, and a dark lover.
Sometimes I take a look at some traditional wedding dresses pics, and gothic wedding dresses and I say: ‘oh my lord, I loved this black dress and weird and funny dark themes that oftem frighten guests and relatives (LoL), but I’m not sure if I could handle it!’
‘Cause you have to handle with the look and with criticism you’ll recieve for sure, no matter what you wear nor the occasion!
I can handle all that, daily, but I’m not sure ’bout wedding. Not untill I see your post! It can be combined, so it means, that the wedding can have a touch of my personality (tradicional and unconventional)!
Tradicional: The white dress, the bouquet, the pearl earring, the high heels…
Unconventional: The black lace gloves, the black bird cage veil, HIS suit, the theme, the food…
It can all be arranged, in a magnificent way!
