Backyard Chic Wedding in Texas
While there’s no shortage of incredible wedding venues out in the world, this wedding reminds us that sometimes you just can’t beat a good celebration at home. Archetype Studio Inc., Plants N Petals, and Pomp & Circumstance were all on-hand to bring Ashley and Chris’ heirloom-filled wedding to reality, while still keeping a good dose of fairy tale intact.
From the photographer, Archetype Studio Inc.: At home celebrations are always extra personal and often filled with heirlooms and history! Ashley and Chris’ October wedding in Houston, Texas was an absolutely elegant family affair with every detail carefully planned and beautifully executed. The bride lost her younger sister just a few short months before the wedding, and her father had passed away the year before. Ashley honored them both in many sweet details including a beautiful calligraphy sign, the planting of a new tree, and a locket with their photos on her bouquet.
I love the way the tented reception was designed as an extension of the home with lovely lounge and seating areas, allowing the guests to easily flow throughout the evening. The floral design was exceptionally beautiful, and the vintage chandeliers filled the celebration with a romantic glow. What a fairy tale wedding!!
