Weekly Wrap Ups

What an incredible week it’s been! Weeks (months?) of anticipation has come to a titillating crowning point, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Kate Middleton couldn’t have made a more lovely bride, and we’ve had such a blast taking a peek into history looking at past royal brides and wedding trends.

As usual, we’d like to leave you with some stunning images from some of our select Blue Label members. Trust me, if you’re looking around for vendors for your upcoming wedding, this is a fantastic place to start!

Timeless Beauty…

Fashion & Beauty

One of the most exciting questions of the past few weeks has finally been answered, and we couldn’t be more pleased! Kate Middleton (or shall we say Duchess Catherine) chose Sarah Burton of fashion house Alexander McQueen to design her wedding gown, and we couldn’t help but see a parallel between Kate’s gown and Grace Kelly’s timeless lace wedding dress. Kate has brought modest simplicity back to bridal sophistication, from her simple tiara to her small posy lily of the valley bouquet. Classic brides, take note from these royal brides of times past:

I’ve been oohing and ahhing over these dresses for days! I think the champagne satin gown above right has to be my favorite. Which is yours?
