It is just like eye-candy, isn't it? Looking at wedding dresses is always fun, but the vintage dresses--now THEY are really something special. I have a great collection on my site as well...take a peek!

Don't know if you saw this one on etsy. If I didn't already have my wedding dress, I'd snag this one in a second.

Ms Bunny, thanks for the clarification! I thought the fabric was too white for its age, but I didn't know how many people are in the market for Edwardian wedding dresses to be a replica, so I trusted the seller. Since most of the vintage clothing I see are from the internet, I might be wrong, but I haven't seen an Edwardian gown that didn't have elbow sleeves.

All the selections are pretty. Good post.

However, there is no way the "Edwardian" dress is authentic (or at least not heavily altered). Women never wore 3/4 length sleeves at that time, there is no collar, and the fit throughout the bodice is completely wrong for the period. Also, don't know if the slip comes with the dress, but it is incorrect for the period as well. As a fashion historian, my best guess is that this is a modernized replica of an Edwardian dress, considering these factors and its excellent condition. Cotton does not hold up that well after 100 years.
