Engagement Sessions

Christie is a long time reader and sent me her engagement session photos shortly after they got engaged. Their friend and photographer, Daniel Tedeschi used 5 vintage cameras for their photo shoot, so you can imagine my excitement when Christie emailed me. There were so many to choose from, it was hard to pick a few. My personal favorites were the medium format ones on polaroids:

Christie shares where they went to shoot, which are great locations by the way!

Most of the shots took place at the Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley MA.(where we typically play frisbee and enjoy lunch on a blanket in the fields) 182 acres of woodlands and fields. The old estate property is surrounded on three sides by the Charles River. The reservation is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its many elements of estate landscaping. There we stumbled across the crumbeling structure that we used for our “secret kiss” shots. The Train track shoot was taken at Rocky Narrows. 7 miles of pine groves and wetlands with trails and footpaths overlooking the Charles River. (we love to go at sunrise the view is stunning!) The brick Allyway shots were taken in the midst of downtown Needham MA. A place I drive by everyday to go to work and I just fell in love with its charm.
