1940’s Inspired Engagement Session

Engagement Sessions

Lot’s of good stuff coming up soon. Veeery soon. So I apologize for the lack of frequent posts lately, it’s for a better cause :) Once the new site is up I will be posting at full speed!

In the meantime, I wanted to introduce you to Jenna Cole (she is That Wife too!), a wedding photographer who is a new kid on the block but I can already tell she’s got talent…She is based out of Dallas, Texas but will travel. Jenna was super sweet to send me photos from this glamorous 1940’s inspired engagement session and though I’ve been busy with working on the new site and all, I had to share a few of my favorites. Take a looksie at her blog!

Lace Doily Wedding Table

Design Inspiration

As soon as I saw these doily table runners designed by Ooh! Events and shot by Tracy Turpen, I was in love. Their antique charm coupled with the milk glass centerpieces and rustic style of the tables is so beautifully simple, and the giant moss-draped oaks surrounding the setup make for a perfect background. Want to try it yourself? Start collecting these beautiful pieces early on to get a feel for how long it might take to find everything you need for this stunning setup!
