My apologies for being a silent Sally lately,  I’ve been crazy busy. Tonight I fly back to Charleston for some major wedding planning and my mind is in a sea of taffeta and lace.

That said I have a fantastic tip I just discovered via my Aunt Sara. Turns out I have a distant relative, Alexandra Kowalski (her grandmother Nelle was my grandfather Red’s sister), who owns, with her business partner Emily Martin, Bride’s Head Revisited. This amazing boutique produces vintage inspired bridal accessories like veils, clips, headbands and hairpins.

Emily and Alex worked together originally at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and eventually were inspired to start the company. They’re based in NYC, but retailers carry their designs throughout the country. I think all you Vintage Glam readers will love their stuff, give it a look here: Bride’s Head Revisited

Until I return, for now, in the words of Rhett Butler, “I’m going back to Charleston, where there is still a little grace and civility left in the world.”

Talk to you soon. -Kinsey
